Who we are
United Drilling Limited is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. United Drilling Limited is registered in England and Wales under company number 16154250. Our registered office is 16 North Close, Elwick, Hartlepool, England, TS27 3EQ.
Information we collect
When you use our contact form or contact us directly, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, company details and any information you include in your enquiry or correspondence.
How we use your information
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, discuss potential work, prepare or manage quotations and projects, communicate with customers and suppliers, keep appropriate business records and meet our legal or regulatory obligations.
Where relevant, we process this information because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, to perform a contract, to comply with legal obligations, or because we have a legitimate business interest in responding to and managing genuine business enquiries.
Contact form provider
Our website contact form is processed using Web3Forms, a third-party form processing service operated by Web3Creative. When you submit the form, the information you provide is transmitted to Web3Forms so it can validate, process and forward the submission to us. Web3Forms acts as a data processor for form submissions.
Web3Forms states in its current Data Processing Agreement that form submission data is subject to a physical time-to-live of up to three years, while dashboard visibility depends on the account plan. Web3Forms also states that data may be processed outside the UK, including in India and through its infrastructure providers, and that Standard Contractual Clauses together with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum are used where required for international transfers.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate our website and communications, professional advisers, project partners where necessary for the work you have asked us to carry out, and public authorities where we are legally required to do so. Some service providers may process information outside the UK; where that happens, we require appropriate safeguards in line with applicable UK data protection law.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry and correspondence data only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the enquiry, manage any resulting commercial relationship, maintain appropriate business records and satisfy applicable legal, accounting or regulatory requirements. Information that is no longer required is deleted or securely disposed of.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not intentionally use analytics or advertising cookies. The site may make technical requests to third-party services needed to provide website functionality, including Web3Forms when you submit the contact form and Google Fonts when the site typography is loaded.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights over your personal information including access, correction, erasure, restriction and data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.
Your right to object
Where we rely on legitimate interests to process your personal information, you have the right to object to that processing. We will consider any objection in accordance with applicable data protection law.
To exercise your rights or ask a privacy question, email info@united-drilling.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how your personal information has been handled. You can find complaint guidance at ico.org.uk.
Automated decision-making
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling through this website.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy when our website, services or legal obligations change. The latest version will always be published on this page.
